Mrs Setho has taught Physics for more than 33 years.

She has taught graduate classes of both Express and IP stream in Victoria School (2001-2019) and Dunman High School (1985-1998). 

​

Having dedicated most of her life to preparing batches of secondary school students for the dreaded GCE O-Level Examinations, she is extremely familiar with the subject matter and everchanging curriculum.

​

After retirement, she has decided to pursue full-time tutoring to indulge her passion for teaching.

​

With a solid grasp of Physics concepts, theories and answering tactics, she frequently draws connections to real-life phenomena in her clear and engaging explanations. She strongly encourages her pupils to ask questions when in the slightest doubt, and constantly brings her lessons beyond the classroom.

 

She firmly believes that the first step to success is in capturing the interests and hearts of the students through the impartation of her knowledge on the subject.

In tailoring her teaching methods to suit each student's learning style and abilities, she believes that motivated pupils will definitely show progress and achieve results that are reflective of their efforts under her guidance.
